Hello. I am Kumai and I am in charge of PR.
This time, we will report on the state of BASELWORLD (Basel World), the world's largest watch and jewelry trade fair held in Basel, Switzerland in March. The event is held at the border of Germany, France and Switzerland, and is held in Basel, where new models are released each year, so many related people and general watch lovers will gather.

-WENGER

The second Basel World, which was smaller this time, was smaller and smaller than the previous one.
Our company's handling brand WENGER exhibits with Victorinox this year as well. Last year there was a large hourglass-like object in the booth, but this year the craftsman of the army knife is performing and many people have stopped and watching.
We will show you some new items of WENGER here. As some will be developed in Japan, please look forward to it.

-Other booth

The venue is the first floor, the second floor, and the third floor of the large hall. There are a number of luxury brands on the ground floor. Each booth represents the brand's world view, and it was a fun place to look at various designs.

The most Impressive booth, using all parts of the watch, brand that was creating a fantastic space in a new design. The atmosphere was a bit different from other brands, and it was impressive that many people stopped their feet and took photos.
The sparkling space seemed to be in a different dimension.

-City

Basel in March had good weather, a temperature similar to that of Japan, a pleasant daytime during the day, and a pleasant climate without a jacket. The city is run by trams called trams, and most of the areas can be reached, so travel was almost a tram.
The beautiful city like Europe could enjoy the atmosphere with just a short walk. In addition, a large station called Basel SBB is a building that feels history by making a solid. It is Europe's largest border station, with Swiss domestic trains, long-distance trains to Germany, and TGV to Paris, which departs from the Basel SBB station here. I wanted to travel by train some day.

Last time, I stayed in Basel, but this time I stayed in the German town of Lerach, a neighboring town. Take a tram for about 20 minutes and walk across the border. Even though it is a neighboring town, the country also has a different currency and language. We could also enjoy German cuisine at a popular restaurant near the hotel, not only Switzerland but also Germany.

In a hurry, two days are over and we go to Japan via Amsterdam.
We found WENGER at a duty-free shop in Basel airport. After all I am glad to find a brand that I handle.
I was worried because I was affected by the Paris strike last time, but this time I was able to return home as planned.
Thank you for reading. See you next time.
